I don't know if it fits in the bug or feature suggestion. I will let the appropriate people put it in proper bucket.

I have nexus configured to autohide for maximized window. My taskbar is hidden. For any activity in any minimized application, I would ideally like the app icon to bounce in my nexus and the bouncing should show even if the dock is hidden. That is why we need notification. See windows task bar for example. If it is set to autohide, it appears if there is any activity.

Now the question is how can I achieve this behavior? Is it intended but not implemented properly? I do see the icon bouncing when I unhide the dock but it just doesn't notify when hidden.
