Howdy all. Wondering if the "respect space reserved by other docks" option works in respect to a dock which displays running applications (the taskbar dock).

Here is a photo to show what I mean. The active windows will overlap the system tray dock when they reach the right hand side. Any way to alleviate this? I have the "respect space reserved by other docks" checked on the left side dock. And I know it works somewhat because maximized windows won't cover up the bottom docks.

The reserve screen space feature works by reserving vertical screen space for docked horizontal docks, and horizontal screen space for docked vertical docks.

In other words, the feature will not prevent two horizontal docks attached to the same screen edge from occupying the same space. It will, however, do so if one of the docks is vertical and the other horizontal (assuming they are both attached to a screen edge, of course).

Hope this helps explain how the feature works.

It does make sense. The right hand dock is free floating as so I can position it in the very corner.
