 Post subject: Creating a dock item for a DOS window in Win7

HP ProBook 640 with Win7 Enterprise 64-bit, 8GB RAM, Intel CPU @ 2.60 GHz

How do I create a dock item for a DOS Window with the same window characteristics (font, window size, buffer size, etc) as is configured in the Windows shortcut? I tried creating a dock item that pointed to the windows shortcut, as well as a dock item with the exact command line to execute cmd.exe, and in both cases, the resulting window only retained the foreground and background colors.
