On starting nexus there is an invisible item on the dock (I think its the dock control icon as the dock disappears when I double click). I have disabled the icon in the settings but this only takes affect after I open settings and click apply.

I have tried not running nexus on windows startup and loading it myself but the problem still occurs.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I am only using to dock to show running applications, no other items. The problem only occurs if there are no applications running when nexus is started.

Can you please post a screenshot so I have a better idea of what is going on?

Either way, if it is what I am imagining, the dock will need to show *something* if you are using it only to show running applications and none are running at the moment, otherwise you wouldn't be able to access settings etc... But it should show a control icon rather than an invisible icon, and that would be the real bug.

From what you are saying the only way I can get round this is to make sure an application is running before starting nexus.

Usually i have the dock 100% transparent as all i want to show is the running app icons. This would be fine but the 'invisible icon' moves the rest of the icons off centre which isnt ideal.

This is what is shown after I have applied the settings and closed all running applications. My aim is to get this from startup (although with 100% transparent dock).

Also when I right click the 'invisible icon' it does not bring up the same menu as the dock control icon would, even though double clicking does the same. It brings up the same menu has right clicking on the dock itself. i.e. the first option is 'insert new dock item'
