Hi,

There should be an option for "auto hide for full screen applications".
I want the dock to always be on top of another application except when watching full screen movie, it should be auto-hidden.

Thanks

And there is (Position tab in Preferences/Dock Properties, right under the z-order setting). Previously it was only for maximized windows, but in v16.3 it started working with full screen applications too.

Which Winstep application are you running and what version is it (top right corner of the About tab in Preferences)?

i am on v16.3.

What I want is it hides when the app is in full screen and doesn't hide when the app is either restored or maximized.

"auto hide for full screen applications" should be a dedicated option.

Because I have "prevent maximized window from overlapping the dock" enabled so the bottom part (i have the dock setup on the bottom of screen) will be empty if the dock hides when the app is maximized.

Thanks.

In which case a better alternative to adding yet another separate option would be NOT to hide the dock automatically for maximized windows *if* it's reserving screen space - only for full screen windows.

Don't you agree?

Good! You will find this working as described in the next release. :)
