I think if you upload themes to the Wincustomize website, it will benefit everyone.

I will be with many, but always here first :)
It all depends on how easy or difficult they make it.

Any recent updates will ALL have the same tag on the end: (MM/YY)

09/26

Six updated themes in the gallery.
Cheers

Now a few on Wincustomize

I uploaded six. If they do all six I'll take it from there.
My priority is fixing at the moment and getting everything in the Gallery spot on first.

EDIT: these will be all I put up. Not happy Jan.

Another question answered as to the menu change not seeming like a big deal in v26.9...

For the end user, it is almost unnoticeable unless you drag menus all over the screen perpetually every day.

For a designer or skinner, it is HUGE. This best exemplifies it. Unusual shapes, be they arches or circular menus or unusual angles are now possible, because the parent menu will not skew and stretch anymore, because it won't pass to larger submenus.

The benefit to the end user is on larger submenus, more intricate menus won't look strange when they are larger and will keep the designer's intent, even when the parent menu is enlarged up to 200% for the greater part.

Cheers

DRM

- some of you may know I am in the later part of my life.
As such I am a member of several things as anyone might imagine. I also learned a little bit after close to 7 decades. Part of this involves the advent of digital media.

A very SIMPLE legal disclaimer which any law firm can verify regarding DRM (Digital Rights Management) which is on a Global royalty site where I am a life member, several music and art sites I am also a longterm member of, are almost identical.

It says pretty much that the person uploading the audio, images, digital files certifies that it is their own creation and they are completely responsible for the authenticity of that claim. If it is not, the correct attribution must be acknowledged and if they receive a DRM takedown notice, they will immediately comply.

THIS, is why I have no tolerance and will tell some sites to fuck off if they try and make me jump through hoops. They should do some research because to me, no matter their reputation, I consider it to be pathetically amateurish next to ASCAP, APRA and a pile of royalty and DRM copyright organizations who know the ins and outs, and I have been a member of them for decades.

definitely. I prefer the glassy cube I started with in the Wallpaper rather than the standard one everyone knows. Early on this one. It may change radically
Maybe "Not Rubix"

final - going with this. While others may or may not agree, I am happier with the vibe now. It has a more consistent feeling for me.

I will be changing two things only - Wanda will not be a graphic and instead have the cube as a 50% opaque overlay so she appears to be swimming inside the cube and I still do not like the menus or placeholders. Other than that, as it is seen below.

I'll clean this up a little and then upload it in the next few days.

TRIVIA: For anyone wondering this is easier than it looks. One of the first things any artist learns are circles, triangles and squares. Anyone who went to high school was taught angles. Each cube is a series of squares joined together. Those squares are individuals. Any image can be mapped to the entire side or just a single smaller square within the cube frame ( a series of squares - top, bottom, four sides in 3D). In this case, nine squares per side.

In gallery - yes, semi-stackable vertically/horizontally, like Tetris

Here's a stackable variation done very quickly

@PPETROFF60

I can keep making themes, but seeing you download all of them and seem to like them, is there a specific theme idea I can attempt for you?

Be as detailed and descriptive as you like. :)

Respected BassdudeNZ! I have an idea that I outlined earlier. This is a theme about the knights of the Middle Ages. But if it's difficult, then I'm waiting for any topics from you! They're all interesting!

Perhaps there is also a topic about airplanes and helicopters (as you can see, I have absolutely zero imagination). :P
