Access to the Beta Software Discussion forum allows you, among other things, to try out private beta releases before they are made available to the public. If you like being on the cutting edge, this is the place to be!

1 - Register with the forum if you haven't done so already.
2 - Make sure you are logged in.
3 - Click on PROFILE at the top left of the board to access your User Profile page.
4 - Click on Usergroups in the Options panel at the left.
5 - Select the 'Registered Winstep Users' usergroup by checking the associated checkbox.
6 - Make sure 'Join Selected' is selected in the combo box and click on the 'Submit' button.
7 - Wait for a confirmation email. Users are manually accepted into this group, so be patient because this might take some time.
8 - Once you receive an email confirming your acceptance into the Registered Winstep Users group, you are free to access the Beta Software Discussion forum.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you signed up to these forums using a different email address than the one used to register your Winstep software, please also send a private message to the board administrator (Winstep) with the name and/or email address used on purchase.

Failure to do so will result in your request to access the Beta Forums being rejected without confirmation.

Please Note -

The Beta forum has been inactive for a number of years now, with all beta discussions taking place in the General Discussion forum (usually in a 'Sticky' thread titled 'What's next after v. nn.n?).

Therefore, please do not submit any request to join the beta forum until such time as it may come into use again. You will not receive any reply if you do. The Beta forum is only kept in place in case it should ever become necessary to use it again.
