 Post subject: cannot seem to delete

Cannot seem to delete the Nexus control icon that looks like a sub menu under the Start menu... So how can I delete The sub menu as well as that Nexus control icon

Sub-docks have no control icon... that looks like a floating dock which happens to be right next to the top dock. Am I right? What do you get if you right click on that Nexus icon?
