how to remove or turn off hotspot on the desktop

I just purchase and install the xtreme, but i have trouble to remove or turn off the HOTSPOT icon on the desktop, can anyone show me how to remove it? Thanks

Open NextSTART Preferences (system tray icon to get to it, NextSTART Settings sub-menu or CTRL + F12 otherwise) and go to the Hotspots tab. Rather than deleting the relevant hotspot, try disabling it instead (just in case you want it back later) by clearing the checkbox next to it.

If it's the primary hotspot (hotspot #0) you want to disable, provided you leave hotspot #1 alone you should still be able to access the main NextSTART menu by bumping the top left screen corner.
