I just purchased a new Logitech mouse and now when I touched a dock or bumped the screen edge, it was displaying a message about activating the screenshot. While trying to get rid of the message that kept popping up, I accidentally clicked to enable the screenshot. Now it automatically takes a screenshot instead of the message popping up.

None of this has happened before using this mouse. I can't find where to deactivate the screenshot feature. I would also like to know why this happened.

P.S. The mouse I was using before is a Keniston trackball. I decided to use a non-trackball because of injuries sustained from constantly lifting my mom and turning her last year before she passed away. I tweaked it playing table tennis when I hit an extremely hard backhand shot around that time. Since then, I've been in constant pain. I'm not sure, but I suspect that the trackball is aggravating the injury and is causing me to have a lot of pain.

Windy, why are you posting an issue that is completely unrelated to the Winstep software in the General section of the forums and, much, much worse, with an alarming title like "Screenshot Activating Without My Consent" ?!

Anyone who reads that will immediately think its the Winstep software that is taking non-authorized screenshots of your desktop when in reality it's some driver/software function associated to your new Logitech mouse that takes screenshots when you bump a screen edge with the mouse pointer (which also happens to activate the Winstep dock like it always did)!

I'm going to move this to the Off Topic section and change the title. Please don't do this again.

Jorge, I thought the explanation in the post was clear that the cause is not Winstep. I did not intend for it or the title to be negative toward Winstep. I see that your adding Logitech is a better title. Too tired (I'm dealing with a lot right now) and I didn't think of doing it that way.

I was looking (and still don't know how) to disable the screenshot function. Before posting, I searched to find out how to do that. Besides getting a solution to the issue, I think that it can be helpful to someone else who might have the same problem in the future.

And I was hoping that you might have an idea why that would happen.

Well with all that said, (I don't know if it's a coincidence or not) but later on a Windows update appeared and it fixed the problem.
