8) i wanted to see how the clock would look in the taskbar.
:? when i then wanted to remove it from the taskbar, it doesn't show up on the desktop.
 when i go and ativate it, it shows up on the desktop as a tiny icon no bigger than these emoticons .
 when i try to scale it to 100% it pops back on the taskbar.
how do i fix this :?:

I'm a little confused. What do you mean exactly? Did you remove/delete the clock from the Taskbar or from the Dock?

If it was the Taskbar, please explain how you were able to accomplish this.

i don't know how i can explain it any better than above. it is exactly how i explained it. look at the picture... top right corner... little tiny clock... can't make it bigger.

desktop 'clock' module... 1 of the individual desktop modules

Windy, Xtreme has an option to capture WorkShelf desktop modules into the NextSTART taskbar as icons of a given size: if you right click on a WorkShelf desktop module, you'll see an option saying 'Attach to NextSTART'.

Whatthe, I think you kind of managed to back yourself up into a corner, so try the following:

1. Right click on the clock desktop module -> Scale -> 100% (even if this means the module goes back to the NextSTART taskbar).

2. Right click again on the module (which is probably now on the taskbar, according to what you said) and select 'Detach from NextSTART'.

All going well, this should solve your problem.

the problem seem to have correct itself. i'll try that if it happens again. the clock is now full size.
i'm afraid to do anything with anything, now. i'm afraid i won't be able to change it back.

Don't be. Whatever you do, you're always able to change it back - and, if you have some trouble for whatever reason, help is always at hand here. :D

This said, before experimenting with stuff you're not quite sure what it does, it's always a good idea to backup your settings first (General Preferences tab of each application).

Jorge, thanks for explaining. For some reason I was thinking about the System Tray and not the Taskbar since he mentioned the clock.
