I have always been used to Start Icons on top, sorted, with folder's, category, under the icon's. Is there a way to control the order withing the category's.

Under NextSTART, you can only re-order items in 'regular' menus (i.e.; menus created with the built-in Menu Editor).

For folder type menus, such as 'All Programs', you can still make folders appear *after* files: open NextSTART Preferences, go to the Menus tab, click the Advanced button, then, in the 'Folder Type Menus' section of the dialog, set 'Where would you like folders to appear in a folder type menu?' to 'Bottom of the Menu'.
