There was a poll about 'what modules would You like to see'. I'm missing the following functions from Extreme (or have I just not discovered it yet?):
  • A calendar. In RipBar this opens if clicked on the clock. Notes can be attached to each day.
  • A Notes management. I use notes as reminders (with a sound). Since working alone in my office I need to be reminded that it's time for lunch…
Are these 'extreme' wishes?

… and how can I change the chime of the clock? I want to hear my favorite Big Ben sound.

Well, if there would be a method to call the side bar gadget Calendar from a dock, my desire would be fulfilled.

All I can say is that a Calendar module is very high on the to-do list for new modules.

As for the chime, you start by associating a sound to the 'Clock Chime' event in the Sounds tab of Preferences, then going to the Clock Settings dialog and changing the Announcement type from 'Talking Clock' to 'Chime'. You can set extra settings such as how many times the chime repeats by clicking on the Settings button right next to the Announcement Type combo box.

Just don't expect the chime to sound exactly like the Big Ben clock, i.e.; it will NOT repeat the chime based on the current hour.

Have my favorite sound now defined. The extent of configuration is really excellent.
