I'm rebuilding a friend's netbook which only has win7 starter edition. As you may or may not know, that version of win doesn't include a lot. Most of it not very useful for a netbook anyway so no big loss.

BUT one option MS stripped out was the ability to chnge the color scheme and wallpaper!!!

Something that's been a staple since version 1.0

Whatdya think Jorge? Will winstep run in that environment? I've seen some notes in other places that dock-apps will allow that function again on netbooks with win7S so my guess is it should.

Unless you tell me it won't, I'll be telling her to get extreme and go to town.

Just kidding. Winstep runs perfectly well in Windows Starter, it just won't be able to change the wallpaper.

so...even then if she installs a theme there won't be any wallpaper? bummer
