Seems that Yahoo mail can only be "POPed" by purchasing Yahoo mail PLUS. In other words I cannot set up the E-mail module to work with FREE Yahoo mail (I tried, but got the following: Socket error #10054 - Connection reset by peer.

I presume there is no way around this.

Nope, sorry. Same thing happens with Hotmail accounts.

so free yahoo mail is not working on the new winstep?
realy? i just renew my subscription just for that....this is not true....i want my money back

personally stick with gmail or something else that does work. yahoo is dinosaur that's way too intrusive compared to others.

There is a solution. Ypops. It is a free program that allows you POP and SMTP access to Yahoo free with your email client. I used to use it a few years ago, but haven't in a while as I no longer use my Yahoo account.. It does work great though. Completely transparent.
