Looking for help... I have a Windows 7/64bit laptop. Nexus Ultimate runs during startup in the install account, but fails to run during startup in the other accounts. How do I resolve this?

I have the following in ALL accounts:

1. In Nexus Ultimate preferences > General, the box labeled "Run Nexus Ultimate at Windows Startup" is checked.

2. In running the windows command msconfig > startup (dialog tab), the box labeled "NeXuS Ultimate" is checked.

As a (presumably temporary) fix, I placed a shortcut to the Nexus Ultimate executable in each account's startup folder which appears to resolve the issue for now.

Why is (1) and (2) above not sufficient? What is the appropriate solution to this issue?

Login into one of the accounts that is not running Nexus Ultimate at start up, then fire up MsConfig.

Is the Nexus entry in HKCU or HKLM? Also, are you sure it is set to run nexus-ultimate.exe and not nexus.exe (the free version)?

Something else you can try is fire up Nexus Ultimate, open Preferences, clear the run at startup checkbox, press Ok, open Preferences again, set the run at startup checbox, press Ok - see if that makes it stick for that user account.
