Hi sorry if this has been asked but ,i cannot find an answer, i just started using nextstart for the first time since buying Winstep extreme (my god its good!)

only thing i cant figure out is...... can i make the time/date section of the system tray when double clicked bring up the calendar like it used to? i use this all the time to quickly check coming dates and ect.

when i click it now all it does is collapse the area or bring up the time/date options.

if there is a way to make a time module bring up that calendar window this would also be great.

i'm with imright on this one. i see no legitimate reason to want to toggle the systray icons off, but just like microsour did i to do see a good reason to bring up the calendar and clock on a single click and the settings for both from there. i have been through all the settings for the nextstart systray and there is no setting to make nrxtstart emulate the default behavior of the windows systray that i can find.

You can try this: It's called VueMinder. http://download.cnet.com/VueMinder-Lite ... ag=mncol;1

It's the free version. I use it and it's very handy. I don't know if you saw my video, but I use the Windows taskbar.

Unfortunately you can't, and it's a pet peeve of mine too. I have already tried to add code which would invoke the Windows 7 calendar, but it doesn't work under the 64 bit version of Windows (it actually ends up crashing Explorer and/or causing some weird side-effects), so I had to scratch that idea.

The only solution is to completely replace the Windows calendar with my own version, but I'm saving that for the calendar module. Until then, you could try Windy's suggestion.

Lol.. Ok i see, must be really convoluted the way windows implements it then... (cant even fathom what whent in to creating these program's.. do not know the first thing about programming :D ) but Idgaf whether i have the windows version or your own version of calendar if it works the same way... hell being able to change the skin/theme would probably be even better... so ... Do it

one thing i have also just noticed is nextstart/nexus does not seem to play well with steam, or at least dead island through steam in particular, given i am a little drunk atm i will give it a few days to try and work it ou t , but it seems the game is freezing every couple minutes and i have not changed anything else except using nextstart/nexus, but man do i love nexstart/winstep a hell of a lot more than the GUI from explorer..... i hope it isn't messing with steam. (will probably read this in morning and wonder wtf i was saying.. or not

Edit: another thing, a little annoying it seems either Nexstart or winstep is messing with my system volume settings...(fairly irritating?) I.e turning my iTunes volume down fairly low when any other application is emitting sound..... is this some option i can change or is it a bug? sorry to keep posting issues in a different thread but as i mention earlier Ive had a few and not thinking right ahahha :P

(last input for tonight, GMT+8.... Oh wait its morning, dead island (steam) will not play right (constant freezing (feels like ram/memory problems?) with nextstart/winstep.... about to try close both and see what happens... will update if i se changes...

hi dude and thanks for the suggestion about to try it out..... also i feel compelled to mention, i just checked that video out...(Albeit for about 20 sec's) and that background brings back a few memories, i only mention this because i remember the last time i had it, it most certainly downloaded with a few cookies/viruses/spyware (for me at least... bad source?) just thought i would share my experience... dunno if u still have it or not....

Sorry Jorge for double post mate.

Yeah, you must have had a bad source. It was probably from one of those that open other links before you actually get to the image. I've noticed for quite some time that the link for the HD version of the background has been dead.

I've found a search engine that points to the image and seems it should be okay. I'll re-post the new link in the Winstep Xtreme-Planet Background thread. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4530

If you're up to it, let me know if you find anything that's wrong with DL those images.
