nextstart, dock and explorer.exe have been taking focus away from full screen applications and games
if the mouse goes down to where nextstart is it over takes the game and minimizes it
if I go into the left corner at the top where the start menu shortcut is explorer.exe takes focus off the game (even tho the shortcut to the top left has been disabled)
and I can sometimes click the dock while in games which minimizes the game

I have fixed the issue with the dock taking focus by ticking the hide or collapse automatically when other windows have the focus
but nextstart can still be clicked while in full scree applications and games

PROBLEM SOLVED

the only reason nextstart was taking focus is because windowblinds could be clicked under nextstart so nextstart would take focus off full screen applications and games
after removing windowblinds everything is fine

is there a way to make nextsrat hide windowblinds or the windows taskbar?

glad you got your problem fixed, however you should not have changed you thread title. other may get the same problem and finding the solution would be easier to search for with an apt title for the thread rather than problem solved. on another note it isn't a good idea to run winstep and windowblinds at the same time.

I didn't think of that
I changed the tittle back
the only reason I was running windowblinds is coz winstep doesn't change the look of the exit, minimize buttons, tittlebar style and stuff like that
however since windowblinds and winstep seem to be conflicting I'm picking winstep over windowblinds as it offers more options and better customization

It is a perfectly good idea to run Windowblinds and Winstep together. Winstep has been made to run both seamlessly. If you will notice, most Winstep themes are made to correspond with their Windowblind counterparts.

the reason winstep runs on top of the windows gui, whereas windowblinds actually changes windows files. yeah my experience has been that windowblinds is more for show, and winstep is for both show and function. personally if you want more items skined go to virtualcustoms.net and have a good look around. you can get and install and run a lot of themes, icon packs, etc... without having to purchase windowblinds.
