Hello my good sirs! I have recently purchased a copy of Nexus Ultimate but am having no success in actually upgrading. I received an e-mail with the license key and a link to a purported setup of Ultimate. I ran the setup but unfortunately it did not, in fact, upgrade my free version and thus the activation key did not work. I then tried uninstalling Nexus and reinstalling from the provided Ultimate setup but, again, it installed the free version and won't recognize the key.

If anybody has any ideas on what's going on here I would be happy to listen. I am not a super programmer/computer person by any stretch, but I'm not an idiot either and I know my way around a computer fairly well. I would appreciate suggestions!

No? Well in that case does anyone have any idea how I can get my money back? It really sucks asking these questions here, but for whatever reason Winstep will not reply to my e-mails so this is the only recourse I have.

There's a readme coming with your key, did you follow the procedure exactly ?

As far as I know, the demo version is the full version, you do not have to uninstall / reinstall, just register the key correctly.

My guess is that you chose a different installation folder for Nexus Ultimate vs. Nexus free.

Try searching your hard drive for nexus*.exe and see if you have more than one match in different folders. The free version is nexus.exe and the paid version is nexus-ultimate.exe

Yeah, I got it sorted out. Just reinstalled the free version from the site and then re-downloaded the ultimate setup in the e-mail. This time, for whatever reason, it actually did download the ultimate Strange little interlude
