btw ... I think I found the culprit so I haven't been getting anymore crashes. There was still a context entry for WinPatrol even though it had been uninstalled. I manually removed references to it from regedit and then the crashes stopped.

Yep! Thanks for hanging in there with me. :) And glad it wasn't all for nothing since that little bug was caught.
