I apologize in advance if this is not the correct forum for this or if it offends anyone. I've used Nexus Ultimate for years and really like it. However, I've always found the color scheme on the Winstep website difficult to read. Dim gray text on a black background does not seem optimal to me, but maybe it's because I'm old and crotchety. :|

It's the age thing lol

The other day I was playing with adding a "whiter" text color to the website, but I am not sure if that was an improvement. I remember the web designer chose the lighter gray text on purpose because otherwise the contrast would be too much.

Anyway, I'm so busy with the new release that I really don't have time to play with it again just now, but once the release is out of the way I could appreciate a few opinions... :D

While I don't have too much difficulty reading the somewhat dark grey text, I do have to agree with the OP that it would be a huge improvement to have the text just a couple of shades lighter. But then, there's a whole heap about the website that really is in great need of attention, not to put too fine a point on it.

But we'll leave all that for after the next release. Oh, and I'm ancient and not just crotchety but downright grouchy! :P
