Hey folks,

I’ve been using Winstep Nexus for a while now, and while I love how customizable it is, I sometimes get stuck when the dock behaves strangely — like freezing after a Windows update or randomly moving to the wrong monitor. I usually end up spending ages searching the forum or experimenting with settings until something works.

The other day I tested Grok Ai Free just out of curiosity, and to my surprise it actually helped me make sense of some of the settings by breaking down the documentation into simpler steps. It wasn’t perfect, but it pointed me in the right direction faster than scrolling through pages of trial and error.

I’m wondering if anyone else here has used AI tools like this for troubleshooting Winstep or similar software? Did you find it helpful, or do you think it’s better to just rely on the forum and manual support?

Would be cool to hear how others balance AI assistance with the advice from this community.

AI is indeed getting better and better... if not for the username and email address (and the nonsensical claim that AI help is better than direct support on the forums) I would have believed the above post was actually from a real user and not an AI bot.

It reeked to high heaven of rat! :P

Wondering if I should ban, or have you done that already?
