Any idea what may be going on? The drawers fly out over maximized windows. mainly Chrome, but others too. full screen games are respected.

The settings haven't changed. And I'm certain that a maximized chrome window used to disallow the drawers from being above the window, whether they were flying out below I do not know.

Thanks for any help

Edit: problem went away after a pc restart. Guess I's been on a sleep/wake cycle for a week or so. Still, I wonder what causes it. Thanks again!

Ah, sometimes these issues just happen because the PC hasn't been restarted in a while—I've actually run into this a few times myself with Chrome. Usually, a quick restart gets everything back to normal.

I never replied because you said it had been solved, but unless I am misunderstanding something, Drawers are supposed to fly out above *maximized* windows.

What can happen if the maximized window is always on top and the Drawer isn't, is that it might fly out UNDER the maximized window (but if you have the sound effects enabled you should be able to determine if this is happening or not).

Full screen windows, on the other hand, are a different beast. When faced with a full screen window (like a game, for instance) the Winstep application deliberately disables all activation methods. You can prevent this for a particular application or window by adding it to the full screen exclusion list.
