Hi everybody ... HI Jorge !!

This is my first post here , so please be gentle !!

I am having a great time with Winstep Extreme ... even though I have only been using it a short while ...

Recently I thought I would have a go at making my own theme ..and I am having a nice time editing all the bits and pieces ...

However I have just one slight prob at the moment .. I have been trying to skin the Workshelf ... and so far I am having a little success ..

As I have been flipping in and out of the Preferences / Settings for workshelf .. somehow the icons within it ..on mouseover and normal have become blurred ... and I am not really sure why ... how do I fix this ?

Also ... I use a vertical Nexus , but the icons within that are too small ...
can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Many thanks in advance ... ( I really do like this application ... its great !! )

Mike . .

This sometimes happens to me if I make the icon size larger than the icon is capable of (I use some icons that are only 32px in size). If that's not it, Jorge can hopefully provide you with a better answer :)

To fix that part, you can right-click on the Nexus icon in the dock and click Dock Properties. In the properties window you can edit the icon size.

Good luck. I look forward to any new Xtreme theme :)

You mean the NeXuS (dock) icons, right? I think I've seen this happening when you change the size of dock icons several times - the icon cache can potentially become confused and store a smaller icon size than it should. I've been trying to reproduce this so I can fix it.

Best solution for now is to simply re-start WorkShelf.

NeXuS can use icons up to 256x256, but it will automatically resize the current icon size (all the way down to 16x16) to make sure the whole dock fits on the screen. This is probably what is happening: your dock has too many items on it for your current vertical resolution. Either rotate your dock (since there is mofe screen real estate horizontally) or start organizing the items in your dock into sub-docks (check out the WorkShelf User Guide for more info on sub-docks).

Hope this helps! :D

Thanks for the replies Guys ..I appreciate it ...

Jorge .. I have decided to use a horizontal Nexus at the top ... Everything appears to to be corrected ... I also did a couple of System Restores ...

So far .. So good !!

The Extreme Theme is , as I have said a first attempt to see and learn the innards of this great great prog ... It is a basic remod of Jorges' Brilliant Aero Sky ...

At present I am having issues with mouseovers on the more buttons but hopefully , in time ....

I don't know how to put up a screenshot here but if you would like to see it here is a link for you ...

Good decision, based on the amount of items there, hehe

 Thanks, but I'm not a skinner, I basically just put things together... For instance, no way I can take the credit for the analog meters, those are blatant plagiari... errr, heavilly based on Tiggz's KTEK meters for Sysmetrix (with permission, of course :D ).

Anyway, I really like your variation on it - feel free to post it on Wincustomize/other sites if you want! :D
