Hello, here a question from a great fan, when i push a button to suspend my 3planesoft screensaver mostly workshelf and sometimes nextstart crash, workshelf gives only a high cpu and nextstart loses it systray, maybe the nextstart issue is windows explorer because this also crashes.

Thanks

first thing i have to ask is how old is this screensaver application? sounds like it is changing your screen resolution witch can effect other programs gui's running properly. also what version of windows are you running and which version of winstep xtreme are you running.

actually i did tell you why it's happening. the screensaver is changing your screen resolution when you run it. for the technical details jorge will have to explain that. i know jorge has put a workaround in winstep to keep 3rd party apps from causing winstep to behave like that. so again if you are able to upgrade to the latest version please do so.

v9.5 was released in May 2009. That's pre-Windows 7 and since then we have over 3 years of constant updates and bug fixes, with *thousands* (literally, just read the history files in your C:\Program Files\Winstep\ folder) of new features and changes in between.

So, which is easier? You updating to v12.2 and see if that fixes the issue you are having, or asking me to remember what *might* be causing an issue with a version that is 3 years old?
