Workshelf not going to the top of screen.

Ok this is a strange one. When I choose which screen edge to attach to for the shelf and say top... it goes to the bottom. Bottom also goes to bottom.

I turned off Display Fusion to be safe and that's not it.

Tried setting some space reservation from NextStart properties as well. No luck.

Either upgrade to the v20.3 beta (check the 'notify me of beta (test) versions' in the Advanced tab of Preferences) or DO NOT use the Shelf Properties panel to set the location of the Shelf - there is a bug in v19.2 that prevents it from working properly (and has been fixed in v20.3).

Alternatively in v19.2 you can either use the Docks & Shelves tab in Preferences OR the right click context menus to position the Shelf.

Is the spacing/gap between a maximized window and a shelf set from the properties of the skin by chance? I can see a pretty good sized pixel gap between the two when maximized and I want to change that.

It's the skin - some skins have a large semi-transparent gap in the bitmap for drop shadows, etc...

Open the Shelf Properties dialog -> Position tab -> Advanced button -> play with the offset.

Ugh. I was looking for that very thing but not the right place. That's why I asked if it was controlled in the theme. Was ready to jump into those theme files haha.

I am interested in making my own themes but I have seen no theme editor (well, there is an early alpha that I opened, that lead down a hole of fixing my creative cloud install), and of course no documentation. It's the old trial and error route it looks like.

Having looked inside a couple of files it "looks" fairly straightforward but looks can be deceiving.
