This seems to be happening when Nexus is running, the shutdown options popup on the start-menu is faded. Any ideas? When Nexus is uninstalled, this problem disappears. Thanks.

Am running Winstep Xtreme 12.2 on windows 7 home premium 32bit.

Never heard of this, sorry.

At first I thought it might be a problem with the Start Menu IC in the Nexus dock, but I just tried it here on Windows 7 x64 and I had no problems seeing the Shutdown popup menu.

Has anyone else seen this?

Also, what happens if you reboot your system and then use the Start Menu button in the taskbar instead of the Start Menu icon on Nexus?

The same...I tried uninstalling and re-installing, yet end up with the same result.

UPDATE: after toying around with this I found the problem was stardock's windowfx 5 causing this to happen. I disabled it to find my start menu back to normal. Wasn't winstep at all. Will be making stardock aware of this. :D
