Hi forum,

I have a Windows shortcut like this (on Windows 7):


...which launches a new instance of Adobe Acrobat every time it is double clicked.

If I drag that shortcut to Nexus, it doesn't work (it only opens the previous instance of Adobe Acrobat instead). Strangely, the very same shortcut DID work with Nexus on Windows XP before.

Any ideas?

try rightclicking the shortcut, go to compatibility, and set it to xp sp3.

Only the Nexus button (cp. screenshot) doesn't.

In the Behavior tab of Nexus Preferences, are you sure 'Do not launch multiple sessions' is NOT set?

However, the german translation is misleading. Instead of "Keine Sitzungen gleichzeitig starten" (????) it should say "Programme nicht mehrfach starten".

Hmmm, not sure that is any better...? Unless I got the translation wrong, it could be interpreted as saying not to start multiple programs, even if they are different.

How about 'Sitzungen nicht mehrfach starten' ?

OK, but this could still be misunderstood as "dont start multiple Nexus sessions" (this is actually what I thought that this setting was ).

Maybe 'Keine mehrfachen Sitzungen von Programmen starten' would be clearer.
