Few questions:

Are you sure you're running Nexus and not Winstep Xtreme? What do you mean by 'the regular desktop does not disappear'?

As for the edge bump, is your dock docked or floating on the screen?

A floating dock will not respond to an edge bump, *unless* you have selected that option as an activation method in the Position & Behavior tab in Preferences. Have you?

You also still didn't explain what you mean by 'Regular desktop does not disappear'. Are you talking about hidding destkop icons automatically on startup?

I have the bottom edge bump working. The Vista desktop used to disappear when running Nexus. It would be a solid blue with no icons. Programs would then run from the dock. I am not running the extreme program, Just Nexus free..

Winstep Xtreme has the option to hide desktop icons at startup. Nexus does not, but, if I remember correctly, it does have an internal command that does the same thing.
