Hi,

I tried to search if there already was any information about this problem, but I couldn't find anything. So sorry in advance if I missed anything.

Most of the time, when I come back from windows standby (or hibernate) mode, Nexus crashes. More precisely, if I put the mouse over the docks, the cursors changes into the hourglass, as if the dock was loading, but it nothing further happens. And if I try to clic, then I have a windows error message telling me that the program is no responding, and I can force it to shutdown. I then have to reopen nexus in order to have it back. This problem occures on two different computer (laptop and fix computers).

Is it a known bug? Is there any way to fix it? It is aspecially anoying with my laptop, since it occurs most of the time when I open it after it was closed for a even a short time...

Thanks in advance for your help!

Are you sure you're running the latest version of Nexus (v11.6)?

Yup, version 11.06.0968 to be precise.

But I'm not sure anymore, was this version released in the last few days? Because I'm not absolutelly sure if the problem has occured in the last days, so if the update was very recent, this topic might be refering to a solved problem. But I'm pretty certain the problem has occured at least in the last two weeks or so...

v11.6 was released last month.

So, what you mean is that this issue is not a regular occurrence? Please let me know next time it happens, and, instead of killing the process, wait about 10 minutes - if Nexus unfreezes itself then, I already know what the problem might be.

I've had the crash I was talking about today. After hibernate, the nexus bar gets like a white rectangle and doesn't answer. I've waited like 15-20 minutes and it still didn't get better. So I finaly had to kill it and reopen it.

Cherrys, so apparently it's not what I was thinking it might be.

One very important question: does this happen *every single time* your PC returns from hibernation or only sometimes?

Also, next time it happens, open the Windows Task Manager in the Processes tab. Look for the nexus.exe process, how much percentage of the CPU is it using?

It used to be every single time, but since the update (I guess), not any more. I think I got my computer out of hibernation half a dozen time without any problem, and this morning it did it again, once.

Next time the problem occurs, I'll check the CPU use.
