 Post subject: sub dock views ?

i can't find any info on this .... so here goes atm sub docks only seam to have one view, a vertical list is there a way to change the view .... let say you have 100 icons would be nice to have a view the Columns and rows or can this already be done ?

Sub-docks can be perpendicular to the parent dock, always horizontal, or always vertical (check the Sub-Docks dialog in the Behavior tab of Dock Properties).

If you have 100 icons to display at once, then a dock is not suited for that *at all*. You would be better off using a NextSTART menu, for instance.

Also, don't forget that sub-docks can be nested, i.e.; a sub-docks can itself have another sub-dock and so on.

Ah, you mean a Stacks docklet.

It's on the to-do list for Nexus Ultimate/Winstep Xtreme.

this is what i asked about awhile back. i have my desktop shortcuts folder with shortcuts to all the programs i use most often. currently it is set for 7 icons across and as many rows as i need. i could create a subdock for it, but it would be one long row instead of me being able to choose how many icons across i wanted it limited to. i think letting us adjust the rows and columns in a subdock would be similar to giving us something like fences, with the added benefit of it not constantly being on the desktop like fences is.
