Alt Tab out of a game

Heya!

I just got Winstep and loving it so far. I just have one question. When I alt tab out of a game, the taskbar and workshelf are missing below the window I will have opened unless I choose the program specifically. Is there a way to have it always show up after I alt tab from a game? Much appreciated!

Can you please explain this further? Not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to explain.

Also, does the game change the screen resolution?

Sure. Lets same I tab out of SC2 and switch to Firefox. My entire bottom section still shows SC2 instead of a taskbar, so if I click down there I get the game. I have to alt tab my way to the desktop, basically. Is there a way so if I come out of a game like that, the taskbar will be there?

Hmmm, perhaps a screenshot would help me understand the problem better? Sorry, it's late here and I'm too tired to think properly.

Weird.

You'll have to do some experimenting yourself, though.

1. Does this only happen with SC2 or with other games as well?

2. Does it matter if the FF window is NOT maximized when you ALT-TAB to it?

3. What happens if you have no other window open besides the game and you ALT-TAB out of it?

4. Anything else you might think of...
