I signal an old bug, if I create a link on the dock to start menu folder programs, all work, although there is some of the generic Windows 7 .exe icon of system utility, but the disk defrag not start. I found the same bugs in version 9 of the Nexus Dock

I take opportunity from this post for to put a couple of questions:

to receive update notifications of Nexus Dock, must be kept turned on
the icon in the tray?
To install the updates every time need uninstall the program and reinstall or is possible install on it?

Hmm, not sure what you mean by version 9, last version is v11.10.

Anyway, are you running a 64 bit version of Windows?

No. Just make sure 'Notify me when new updates are available' is enabled on the Advanced tab of Nexus Preferences.

No need to uninstall the application to install an update. You can/should install on top.

This said, if the Winstep Update Manager is enabled, it will download and install the update for you, so this would be a moot point.

Ok thanks for clear reply.
Yes I have 7x64, I had already tried the Nexus dock one year ago and I think it was version 9, but with the same problem.
Also I added two links at two batch files for my use, in the Menu start/programs folder, but if I launch they from the dock are dysfunctional, in practice they operate at half, or do not finish executing the command, but leave it in the middle

PS: However besides these minor problems encountered yet, I have to say that compared to the old versions that I had tried one year ago, I found the program very improved, especially in performance and hardware power consumption, where the demand for resources is significantly decreased compared to the past. If you continue to do this god work also for the next versions, I think that just don't leave the Nexus Dock anymore  of course, the wealth of functionality and aesthetics of the dock deserve praise :)

Might have something to do with the automatic 64 bit file system re-direction for 32 bit programs. Hard to say because I'm not there to test it, sorry...

Yes, that will happen if an application exists in 32 and 64 bit versions (one in Program Files (x86) another in Program Files). In that case, the 32 bit version always takes precedence.

You see, details are VERY important. Devils is in the details. For instance, how are you emptying your recycle bin? From the Recycle bin module itself or from the Recycle bin icon in the Windows Desktop?

I have a little but annoying problem with the dock interface, I set the dock always on top, but when I do on running application on the dock: right click > Settings application list > customize applications, the bottom of the windows that open is hidden from the dock. Instead with the dock set always on top, they should open up a little higher
Another problem; when I try to copy or move a file/folder directly from context menu in the list of links from the dock, it dont work, only close all opended menu and list on the dock

Hmmm, I think I understand what you mean. A better solution would perhaps be to make the dialog appear 'always on top' too.

Can you please provide a screenshot so I understand better what you are trying to do? Here I am able to drag a file from a 'Browse' context menu (which is displaying the contents of a folder) into the dock without any problems.

Yes, provided you have Weather.com/METAR codes for the locations not in the database. Just overwrite the values in the text boxes.
