While it is awfully nice of you to free gorgeous Wanda from her virtual prison by allowing her to float freely about my desktop, I wondered if you would consider letter her have the entire screen as a screen saver.

When the screen saver activates, you could capture the desktop image and slowy apply an offset transformation/depth map to the captured image to make it look like water. That would keep the pixels from burning out. Then, you could add various underwater items for Wanda to kick back and relax in. In fact, I am sure folks would be happy to draw up some beautiful props for her. Eventually, you could have her perform custom animations when she wandered across a virtual prop. I can see her lounging in a margarita class, spewing out rhetoric, enjoying it all.

Then, you could write a simple algorhythm that checked if she encountered a virtual "bubble" in the screen saver and if she did, she might be inclined to spit out a word of advice or two. Then after a minute or so, like the water-effected desktop, the quote would disappear slowly. It really wouldn't take much programming and it does seem to be the next logical step in Wandas liberation.
