You're not alone. Something is going on. It could be one or more of the sites responsible for the information, a cache cleaning program like CCleaner or a security program blocking it.

I doubt it has anything to do with the module itself. I've been having a similar issue for about a week or so.

If I switch to a different city other than the one I use it works fine, hence why I suspect it could possibly be the latter two reasons I gave.

ccleaner and the like don't touch winstep, and once it's allowed through your firewall it's set.

Hey Chucky, its been a while. The reason I brought those up as possible secondary causes is that I recently updated CCleaner and my security programs update on a regular basis.

The weather module information stopped displaying and showed the invalid location error after using CCleaner. It could be just a coincidence.

As far as the security programs...once in a blue moon (after an update) they might flag something as malicious and fully or partially block something that should be white-listed that wasn't blocked previously.

It's happened on several occasions with Winstep programs. Obviously the false-positives aren't Jorge's fault. I remember quite some time ago there was an issue with a few security programs dragging their feet about wihite-listing the info submitted to them by Jorge.

I was getting the same issue. I tried switching cities and it was still happening. I found the METAR code for my town and put that in and it worked. So it seems to be weather.com related.
