The title of the post is "Weather Module". It still does not work.

It works just fine here. Are you sure there isn't some other problem with your settings, configuration or firewall?

Are you saying, you've been using the same operating system on the same computer for the last 15 years?

In any case, my weather module is working and after I checked, it's receiving its feed from MSN Weather. The METAR URL has changed from what Winstep is using and even though I checked, the new URL is a bit strange.
However, the Weather.com feed is working as well, at least for two locations I've tried.
Are you sure you've updated to the last version of Winstep? I remember there were issues with Weather.com changing its service availability, but Jorge had released a build to fix exactly that.

Gregory2001. I've posted about this topic on several occasions and couldn't find a solution. However, very recently I figured out something that might work. I have to use it every now and then when for some unknown reason the weather module stops working. Try this workaround.

Switch to a different city that works (preferably one close enough so the disparity in temperature is minimal) and leave it there for a week or so and then switch it back. It should work again with the city of your choice. Repeat as needed. BTW, you can check in 3 or 4 days but it might not work.

Please do us a favor by reporting back with the results. That way we will know if it's just a fluke on my PC or if this is a viable workaround for everyone although temporary in nature since something causes it to stop working periodically.

Could you also post, if it works, which service it uses to retrieve weather data?
As I already mentioned, mine indicates "NOAA / MSN".

Thanks, Windy. I've done that and it does work temporarily but there should be no reason why we have to do that.
