Greetings. I just bought and installed Nexus Ultimate a few weeks ago. Since I installed, I've been sporadically seeing a stray little window, empty of contents and with no controls, on my display that looks like this:

Is Nexus Ultimate creating this, and can I prevent it?

Thanks.

i haven't seen that since xp. if i remember correctly it's not winstep directly creating, but rather a 3rd party app not playing nice with winstep. maybe skagon or someone else remembers. for now what os are you running.

Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1.

I don't have a lot of weird 3rd party apps, at least not that are running all the time. One I do use, though, is Classic Start Menu (http://www.classicstartmenu.com -- makes the Windows 7 Start menu look like pre-Win7 Start menu). Maybe it's that?

You could always disable the "Classic Start Menu" and see if it's that.
I'm using "Classic Shell" and there's no problems whatsoever. ;)
