I have a very trivial issue with Nexus Ultimate and thought I'd ask here just in case there is a solution.

I have a dock across the top of my screen that auto hides. Bumping it to get it to appear works fine except at the sides of the screen. For about the last inch of the dock on both ends the bump doesn't work. So, about an inch of the doc and 1 1/2 inches of the screen, on both sides, the bump doesn't work.

I looked for a setting that might control that but couldn't find anything.

To help prevent accidental edge bump activations, the dock only registers a screen edge bump if the mouse pointer is inside the area used by the dock when *unmagnified*.

So, if the dock is NOT using the full width of the screen, there will be areas on both sides of the screen where the bump will do nothing.

There is also another setting (Edge Bump Settings -> Ignore edge bumps near the titlebar button area...) that makes the dock ignore edge bumps around the area where the maximize, minimize and close buttons of a *maximized* window would be.

Unchecking the "Ignore edge bumps near titlebar button area" made a substantial difference. There is still a small area on both ends of the unmagnified dock that won't bump but it is now much less of a problem.

Out of curiosity- the titlebar button area is only on the right side. Perhaps the "no bump zone" should only be on the right end of the dock?

Thanks for the help, once again. I nominate Winstep Extreme as the absolute best Windows enhancement available.

Don't forget about the window's system menu where the window's icon usually is, that is still on the leftmost side of a window's titlebar (although it's hardly used these days). Anyway, when that option is on, bumps on the first and last 120 pixels of the screen are ignored.
