I'm sorry if this is a noob question or already answered elsewhere in the forums (I've searched but couldn't find anything). Is it possible for the skinned taskbar to be the same on multiple monitors? Not 'duplicating' but rather just look the same (same theme). I've just purchased Winstep Xtreme and skinned my desktop with a theme but the taskbar skin only exists on the main monitor (the second monitor is the normal Windows 10 taskbar conveniently set to hide).

Also, is it possible to set the Start Menu Organizer to use the default Windows right-click menu. The only advantage to my second monitor having the default Windows taskbar is that I can still use it to right-click to the default Windows menu (such as command prompt, control panel and so on).

I don't have multiple monitors, so I'm not sure on this, but I think you could make a hotspot that duplicates the 00-Nextstart hotspot but on the second monitor.

Not currently, but you can make the NextSTART taskbar 'extend' between multiple monitors, provided their screen resolution is the same (NextSTART Preferences -> Taskbar tab -> Taskbar Settings -> Enable 'Span multiple monitors')

Problem with this is that NextSTART is currently unable to reserve screen space on monitors other than the primary, so maximizing a window on a secondary monitor would cover the NextSTART taskbar there.

Eh? No. But for what purpose? The right click context menu in the Start Menu Organizer is there only to give you access to SMO functions.

Well, my day job is a software analyst for Microsoft. As such, I'm a bit more of a 'hands on' techie than normal. I like the fact that right-clicking on the normal Windows start button lets me access Event Viewer, Powershell or Control Panel, for example. While I don't use any of those daily, I do tend to use it enough to like the convenient access method. Sure, I can add those to another taskbar but...

Anyway, since the skinned taskbar only extends on my first monitor right now, it's just as convenient to right click on the Windows Start button on my second monitor and get to things that way.

Problem is, you didn't write 'Start Button' in your post above. You wrote 'Start Menu Organizer', which is a Winstep application for organizing the Windows Start Menu (until Windows 8, that is, it will no longer work under Windows 10 because under it MS decided to store Start Menu contents on an internal database instead).

Right clicking the Start Button in the NextSTART taskbar gives you the same options that right clicking on the Start Button in the Windows taskbar gave you until Windows 7.

I had not noticed until your post above that Windows 10 now offers a whole bunch of other options in this right-click menu. Funny how it seems to be turning what should be a right click *context* menu into an alternative for the older, classic, Start Menu.

Here is what you can do: see the Quick Launch buttons section in the NextSTART taskbar? Those icons there can be used to open pre-defined NextSTART menus, not just launch programs. You can create a new NextSTART menu, holding all the options you want, with the built-in Menu Editor and then assign that new menu to a button/icon in the Quick Launch section. Instead of right clicking the Start Button in the NextSTART taskbar, you left click your new Quick Launch button.

Thank you! That will work!

This program is ridiculously expandable. Someone needs to write a book on everything you can do in here. :D

There is another 3rd party app called "Ultramon".. I have seen it demonstrated on 4x Monitors from the same machine [guy set it up as a flight sim computerin a 180 degree circle].

While Winstep is not lacking in functionality as I can see Jorge posted above, Ultramon seems to work reasonably well in allowing anything to be on any of the monitors and windows remembers where you put it on next reboot. It is an add-on, not a fix.
Cheers
