Every once in a while my keyboard will stop working properly. The Windows key usually still works but all the other keys don't really work. "F" will bring up menus sometimes and some keys do other weird stuff. I also am not able to click on my bookmarks, favorites, or other links in Chrome.

This has been happening for some time and the only thing I figured out is that once I close Nexus everything works again.

I've had this happen to me before a long time ago, although, if I remember correctly, it was not in any way related to Winstep software.

That can happen if the keyboard driver thinks a shift key is pressed but hasn't yet been released (for instance, the ALT key). It will then act as if ALT is pressed all the time.

Also, if you believe it is indeed related to Winstep software, see if you can find the culprit/cause and get back to me. For instance, the following internal commands work by sending key sequences (WIN + <x>) to Windows, as if the user had typed those himself:
