I have upgraded to WinStep Extreme 6.11 and run the setup twice. NextSTART still is at version 3.41 and keeps telling me there is an update available, I click OK on that alert to go to the web page, and it takes me to the same WinStep Extreme 6.11 download page that I've already run.

I see that NextSTART should be upgrading to Version 4.

Any idea why I'm stuck in this loop?

Any way to update the NextSTART independently since the WinStep 6.11 isn't doing the update correctly?

Or am I doing something wrong?

Hi!

Make sure NextSTART is not running. Now open the c:\program files\winstep folder and delete the file nextstart3.exe. Run nextstart.exe instead and the problem should be solved!
