I’ve been using Winstep Nexus Dock for about two months now and love the flexibility, but I’ve hit a strange issue recently. Every time I reboot my PC, some of the dock icons jump back to different spots or disappear entirely. I’ve double-checked that I’m not in "Auto Sort" mode, and I’ve tried locking the dock, but the issue keeps happening.
I’m running Windows 11 Home, and nothing major has changed on my system recently apart from a graphics driver update. I also tried exporting and re-importing my settings, but that didn’t help either.
I’m wondering if it's a bug or something simple I’m missing.

It's neither a bug, nor something you're missing, it is just plain impossible - especially if restoring your settings doesn't help.

The only explanation is that something is missing in your description of the problem.

So, can you please post before and after screenshots of this issue? That might give me a clue.
