I removed this post. I realised I was almost attempting to justify myself. I do not have to. I know what i have done in 50 mostly successful years in the arts, and proving it to faceless people is not a requirement. Moving along.

Unfortunately our friend WebGizmos (Stephen Welsh) passed away on August 11, 2023.

That is sad indeed, and sad to learn as well.

Minimalist themes are often the most beautiful and appealing, for example:
It works, images must be less than 1MB for the "Upload Attachment" function.

Continuum by Ross Fairbanks aka Z71:
Modified by me, including Start Menu, Moon Phase, Calendar, Disks, Battery, Xion Player, and Rainmeter skins (Woofer, Swap Usage, and Notes).

Metall for WindowBlinds by Ross Fairbanks aka Z71:
Converted for Winstep by myself, Modules with Xion Player and Rainmeter (Woofer, Swap Usage and Notes).

DarkTech by DaniloOC :
Arranged and added by me : Moon Phase, Calendar, Battery, Disks, Xion Player and Rainmeter (Woofer, Notes and Gallery).
Wallpaper "Sector 3 Photon Lapis" by Fernando Cruz.

Five things I learned in life approaching septuagenarian years in art and life:

1. Nobody can speak for 8 billion people as to what they like, people will always surprise you and only a fool thinks they can speak for the majority.
2. Wipe your own ass/arse before you attempt to wipe someone else's. Like and think what you like and let others do the same. If what they think is wrong for you, it does not make them better or worse, it only makes them different.
3. Never assume you know what someone else feels or thinks, you live inside your own head, not inside theirs no matter what they say. If you want to know, then ask, because if you assume, it makes you a dumber buttmonkey than you think they are.
4. The cliche "one man's meat is another man's poison" is true in nearly everything. Intelligent people change their own minds, only sheep let someone else make up their mind for them. What is interesting for one person could be boring to another and vice-versa.
5. There is never one way to do anything. Always leave yourself open to possibilities or you stay in one space and place and will never see the world of possibility outside of that.

Indeed, they can be that too. More importantly, AFAIC, they're the most useful and appropriate in an environment of productivity as they tend to be non-distracting if well designed.

Thank you Picco14 for sharing your screenshots with us. I have missed them on the Stardock Recent Posts website. As always your creations are excellent.

Thank you BassdudeNZ for even more themes. Your creative abilities covering a wide variety of subjects is very impressive. Thank you for sharing them.

Bonjour BassdudeNZ...
Picco14

Hey! This is a respectable establishment. If you two damsels want to fight, please take it outside. :D

Both of you have my authorization to upload any variations of the Winstep themes if you guys ever feel like it, just add something like a "v2" or "v3" to the title.

Picco, any chance of you sending me the updates you did to the new modules in the Darktech, Evolve and K-TEK4D themes so I can ship the updated themes with the actual applications? Would really love that.

K-TEK4D was made by Tiggz (Matt), not commissioned by Winstep, but before he disappeared all those years ago he gave me authorization to include it with Winstep etc... at the time he was making a lot of the graphics for Winstep (not paid, just as a friend), including mockups for the new UI, etc... the WS and NX metal looking logos were actually made by him.

No problem, the matter is closed for the damsel. It was just a reply to a message that was clearly meant for me, which is normal.
No hard feelings and with respect to BassdudeNZ...
Sincerely...

Light-hearted recently UPDATED Wanda theme in Gallery.
Because Wanda being clicked on is mainly quotes and anecdotes, in several themes the fish did not seem appropriate. Because Wanda has been part of Winstep since the early days, I tried to create a humorous Goldfish theme where she could swim in one place or across the screen with other Goldfish.

I have additionally created a lot of generic Goldfish icons to go with it - documents, Pictures, MsWord/Excel/PPT, Computer, network, Library, Music, Video, Photoshop, Utilities, control Panel and a lot more as well as some lesser known ones.
Making more so will put in the icons section when ready :)

The image in the gallery is a vertically split image with a few sample icons superimposed over the wallpaper as examples underneath the main Theme shot.
