On the update notification pop up window despite selecting Never show the notification, the update notification pop up window keeps popping up and showing up nearly daily. This is a nuisance. How can I permanently disable this notification pop up window?

Venkum, I understand how repeated renewal reminders can become frustrating, especially if you're happy with your current version and not planning to upgrade right now.

The reminder you’re seeing is part of how the licensing model works: once the free update period has elapsed, the application will display a renewal reminder when it starts. The “remind me later” option is intentionally limited to the current session, so the reminder cannot be permanently disabled.

That said, this does not affect your ability to use the software - your current version will continue to work exactly as it does now, indefinitely. Renewing is entirely optional and only necessary if you decide you’d like access to newer versions and features.

Hmm, but there is an option in the dropdown something like 'Never remind again' or something like that. I selected that and closed the reminder pop up, but the reminder shows anyway next time. So, then what is the purpose of the 'Never remind again' option?

Prevents the reminder from showing up again for "this" session, i.e. if your PC is always on and you never rebooted or restarted the Winstep software, you would never see the reminder again.
