I'm working on a new theme. I've called it 'Relax' (hence the awesome forum thread title) :) Progress so far shown below.

The theme uses stock icons from IconGalore because quite frankly I suck at icons :)

Thanks guys. :)

As usual, I have new questions due to a new theme ;)

Would it be possible in the future to allow for Wanda custom animations to not be set/restricted by an icon size? I wanted to make an animation that was wider than 128 but nowhere near as high as that. I couldn't do that so for now I've gone for 'no animation'.

Updated with image captured by WinStep Xtreme ;)

And just in case my question was missed...

Wow! Very, very, nice Jason! :D

Only one thing, but it's a personal preference, so take it as my *personal* opinion. I think the tabs are a bit too big, which has been a constant in your last themes. Again, as I said, it's my personal opinion and I'm sure others will disagree with it, hehe

Anyway, great work!

As for Wanda, I'll try to un-restrict module icon sizes to the 'standard' icon sizes.

Opinions can count. I'll be honest... I'm lazy. I generally open an older theme of mine and overwrite it when creating a new theme. So I keep a lot of the settings the same. They're settings I've gotten used to :) BUT, I do want to make my NextSTART menu smaller this time. So if I need to edit that I may as well edit the tabs :)

I actually do post my previews here for a couple of reasons. Firstly, to hopefully let people know that themes for WinStep Xtreme are being actively developed. Secondly so I can get feedback on a theme's development. This application does so much and can be set up in so many different ways that I'm sure I overlook things when developing a theme. I'd like to get it as close to 'right' as I can before I release it :)

I'm guessing the animation needs to be an icon size of some kind and can't be any size that the user selects (like 200px wide by 30 pixels high). If you look at my previous screenshot you can see the Wanda module has the text 'Click here for some wisdom'. My intention was to have this animated so it looked like it was being typed into the module. But it's cool if it doesn't work that way :)

Thanks :) I'd say by next weekend. I'd really like to say by the end of this weekend. But I can't control the real world activities that my wife plans for me ;)

OK. When someone solves this I believe the theme is ready :)

Image

When I hover over the arrows at the end of the horizontal menu the backgrounds get thinner (top half of image). When I hover over any other part of the horizontal menu the backgrounds go wider (bottom half of image).

It's the end of the weekend, I'm tired and I can't see the setting I'm missing :)

Can you please send the theme to Winstep support so I can have a look at why this is happening?

Ah, and why is your in-shelf Recycle Bin module so small?

Thanks! :D

I shall post it now.

The icon is small because it doesn't come any larger ;) I didn't make it :)

Did you fix the horizontal menu scroll arrow background issues? I can't reproduce it here.

As for the Recycler WSTrashFS and WSTrashES icons, do the following: they currently are 128x128 PNG images with a LOT of blank space on every edge of the bitmaps. Crop 28 pixels out of each edge to get a 70x70 pixel image with the recycler on the center.

Nope. Still happening for me. I never use the horizontal menu but like to include it for those that do. If it's just an issue on my system then I don't care. If it happens for someone else it might be an issue :) I'll release the theme later today or tonight and see what happens.

I don't know why, but I thought it had to be 128x128. Sorted out :)
