Hey all,

I am relatively new to Winstep (well, since about Nov 08 I think). I absolutely love it!

One function of the suite which I have not yet played with is the Start Menu Organizer. I figured I would ask for some ideas. How are you guys organizing your Start Menus? For example by "Categories" (e.g., Network Progs, Multimedia progs, etc)?

Any other ideas?

I haven't yet used the program but I've always categorized
my start menu (the norm on the *nix side of things).
My current menu isn't as organized as it should be but some categories
are Devel, Graphics, Maintenance, Multimedia, Network, Security, Utils.

What I started doing awhile back is using underscores in menu names
when I wanted sub-categories listed at the top of each menu.
For instance under Utils I have _Archivers, _Backup, _SysInfo, etc.
This way the sub-categories don't get lost among the other submenus.

If I'm lucky an installer will allow me to select where to put something
but usually that's not the case so they get moved manually (and quickly
via FAR file manager). I just have to remember to remove those menus
when I uninstall something since they will get left behind.
