So, I've come across some more animation sheets which can be used to add a few more dock mouseover effects, etc...

On the other hand, no other dock anywhere has as many effects as Nexus already has... so...

And while you are at it... please post below what your favorite mouseover effect is. And you know you can combine the dock magnification effect with other effects, right?

My favorite and currently using: Mouseover Effect: Water, Magnified.

Always loved water themes. And yes, more themes would be absolutely wonderful.

Would love more "water" themes including splash hitting the top of icons, with droplets splashing everywhere combined this with water running down the sides of icons slowly as another option. How about lighting strikes. Something to do with the rain or a water stream that flows pass the icons with mouseover. Would like to see the water stream be an entire sheet that spans the entire dock, and only will it rise when mousing over the icons. Just a thought. Appreciate all the added flare to Winstep/Nexus.

While the eye candy is nice, it eventually wears thin. I'm far more interested in functionality... THAT endures.

I don't think anyone can say Winstep apps lack functionality. At least not with a straight face.

Anyway, as you answer the poll, please post your favorite effect too. I'm really curious about this.

And that functionality is why I still use it and support its development.

I have some good news for all those who voted yes: some more cool effects coming your way (but will only be available in the paid versions of the software).

I've only used the "free" version of Nexus; however, one that that always bothered me about your AMAZING dock is that i wish there was a simple hover over effect that could draw like a box or rectangle around the icon like a normal taskbar would. I'd actually like to use Nexus as a taskbar and hence would love to blend it into the screen better by having a bar behind it with normal hover over and select effects. What do you think?

Hmmm... that would probably look ugly as hell when the dock is magnifying and with certain themes. But I guess it can be done: a single frame bitmap that would only appear behind the currently selected icon?

But then, what type of bitmap/background? Or perhaps I could make it user selectable.

Well my idea is under the assumption you would not use magnification. So yes a single frame bitmap should work but draw it over the dock icon instead of behind. So that basically a user could make a simple Taskbar that looks like the default win10 one butbut with the added functionality of nexus. And yes user selectable would be cool!
